During the first two years of the Joint Venture NPL-Ditemsa
made investments of more than $2m in new technology and
introduced new working practices. These changes resulted
in much higher productivity and better quality which led
to a 50% increase in annual sales.
In February 2005 we moved to the next stage of our plan
for expansion by taking over the Plastic Injection Mold
business from SEPROSA, a subsidiary of Grupo Industrial
Saltillo which operates in an adjacent building to our plant
in Saltillo. This additional business dramatically increases
our capacity and enables us to offer plastic injection mold
tools as well as foundry tools.
